This hitch pin will not only keep your basket secure, but it will keep the shank of the cargo basket tight against the receiver tube with the anti-rattle device.

We carry two Carpod baskets and they are the Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier, # M2205, and the Walled, Fixed Cargo Carrier, # M2200. I would recommend using the Folding Cargo Carrier, # M2205, because it gives you the option to fold the cargo carrier up when not in use and provides additional ground clearance for the carrier.
