Question:
I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 2 dr coupe. It looks exactly like the one in the picture right down to the color. Is there a key to getting the hitch over the exhaust pipes or does the muffler have to be taken off. I have twisted the hitch in many directions with no luck.

There really is no special way to get the Hidden Hitch, # 60877, into position on your 2008 Nissan Altima coupe. It looks like you would have to do either the left or right side first then angle in the other side.
You do not have to lower the exhaust but if you find there is no other way then use a strap to support the exhaust and then take the exhaust off of the rubber hangers to lower it. The strap will hold it up and it will be down low enough to get the hitch in easier.
