Yes, transmission coolers work to help your transmission run cooler and extend the life of your transmission and fluid. This cooler will work on your Liberty if there is enough room in front of the radiator or air conditioning condenser to mount the unit. The Derale Tube-Fin Cooler, part # D13101 is 3/4 inch thick by 5-1/8 inches wide and 12-3/4 inches long. You will have to measure the space you have and order accordingly.
