Question:

what do you have for a 1 1/4 rceiver, class II hitch. I need something with about a 5 to pull a light weight trailer.

For a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver on your Ford Explorer, we have two ball mounts that fall within the 3-1/2 to 5 inch drop range. The first one is the Draw-Tite Class II Ball Mount, part # 36078. This ball mount has a 4-3/4 inch drop and measures 7-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball mount hole. It has a tongue weight rating of 300 pounds and a towing weight capacity of 3500 pounds. The pin and clip are included with this ball mount.

The second ball mount is the Draw-Tite Class II Ball Mount, part # 36071. This ball mount has a 3-1/4 inch drop and measures 7-3/16 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball mount hole. It is also rated for 300 pounds tongue weight and 3500 pounds towing weight capacity. It also comes with a pin and clip.
