Question:
How do I find the roof supports on my pop up? I have a larger 1998 Rockwood Pop Up Camper with an AC unit in the rear, so I have plenty of room in the front for the rack. Just not sure where I would drill for the strap mounts.

To install the Swagman Pop Up Camper Roof Mount Bike Rack, part # S80550, on your Rockwood Camper you will need to attach the tie-down loops to the roof supports of the camper.
The roof supports will vary on different campers. Around the outside top edge of the camper is going to be the strongest point to mount the tie-down loops because that is where it has a frame. If the tie-down loops are installed on the very top of the camper, you will put the brackets a 1/2-inch in from the edge. If they are mounted on the sides of the camper, a 1/2-inch from the top is a good location.
You might also look on the inside of your camper and see if there is any indication of something being attached to a roof support by where any screws might be located.
