Hi, I wanted to place an order for a replacement hinge for my Thule Ascent 1700. The shape of my hinges doesnt seem to match the two replacement options you have on the site. I was wondering if a replacement hinge for my box is available, and if so, which is it? If it is not available, can I just buy 2 hinges meant for the Atlantis series to replace both the broken one and the good one on my box so they are a matching set? Thanks!

I verified with my contact at Thule that the Replacement Hinge, # TH14936, that you referenced is the correct replacement hinge for the Ascent 1700 cargo box, # TH605. This hinge has replaced older hinges which may be why they look different from those in your cargo box.
This hinge will snap on to the ball socket on the top and bottom of the cargo box. You can purchase two hinges if you would like to replace both with the same hinge. I have attached a video of the Ascent cargo box with these hinges installed.
