Question:
went to install my Reese Pilot in my 2012 Nissan Titan and the harness has 5 wires red/green black brown/WHITE red/blue red and the Reese Pilot has four blue black white red could you help me with the connections Mark

Expert Reply:
I can certainly help you with that.
The Nissan OEM brake control pigtail would connect to your Pilot brake controller as follows:
Harness Red Wire to Black Wire on Controller
Harness Red/Green Wire to Red Wire on Controller
Harness Black Wire to White Wire on Controller
Harness Brown/White Wire to Blue Wire on Controller
The Red/Blue wire on the harness is for an illumination circuit that is NOT used. This wire should be bundled
up out of the way and the end capped off so it does not short out on anything.
