Question:
I have a nissan frontier 2009 4x4. When new I bought and installed 6 pin set up with accompanying relays etc and all worked ok. Just tried on another trailer and htough the tailights on trailer worked briefly, next time they did not work.Though I have found brake and signal fuses for trailer lights, I cannot locate a similar fuse anywhere for the trailer tail lights. Thanks for any help

It sounds like there is a short on the trailer and that is what caused the lights to stop working after a brief amount of time. If you plan on towing with this trailer again I would recommend you go over the wiring of the trailer looking for an obvious shorts in the circuitry and fix as necessary.
I did some research out on the internet and read one post where a guy had your exact problem and he unplugged all of the trailer relays and harnesses and then plugged them back in and started working again for him.
You should also check the tail light fuse of your 2009 Nissan Frontier. The legend on the fuse cover should guide you to figuring out the fuse locations.
