Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar Will Not Lock Into Place

Question:

Falcon All terrain Tow bar will not lock into place. Do you offer a repair kit for this product?

asked by: Robert R

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my Roadmaster representative, and explained the problem you are experiencing.

There is not a repair kit available for the problem you describe, but my rep told me that is sounds as if the anvil bolt on the end of the inner arm has come loose. This is a very simple repair. Remove the inner arm from the outer arm, and locate the anvil bolt on the end of the inner arm. Remove the bolt, and apply some red locktite (part # LT37420) to the threads and reassemble the arm. When this bolt comes loose, the spring cannot apply enough pressure to lock the arm into place. The thread locker will secure the anvil bolt into the proper position so that the locking arm will operate properly.
