Can the Rage Motorcycle Carrier Be Used To Carry a 1967 Triumph Bonneville Behind a Motorhome

I have a 1999 Ford Phoenix Cruiser motorhome and a 1967 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle. Will your Mx600 carrier work for this application?

I would recommend going with the Blue Ox Motorcycle Carrier 1, # SC2000, which is 84 inches long x 48 inches wide, is designed for use on Class A Diesel pusher motor homes, and can carry up to 1,000 lbs. To use this motorcycle carrier, you will need to add two receiver tubes to your motor home. The included receivers are designed to be welded to the frame, which should be done by a certified welder.
You should also use the attached drawing to determine the added weight that installing this carrier will apply to your motorhome and add that weight to the weight of your motorcycle to determine if the capacity of your 2 inch hitch will allow for carrying the motorcycle with the # SC2000 carrier.
The Rage PowerSport Steel Motorcycle Carrier cannot be used at the back of a motorhome because the distance from the rear axle to the trailer hitch is so long that the torque that would be applied to the hitch would be too severe for the carrier or motorhome frame to safely support it.
