Will the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # 1480DAT Fit a Class III Hitch on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

Will this pin/lock work with a Reese Class III hitch, with an Jeep OEM power plug 8 prong,, round, mounted approx 3 inches from the 2inch receiver? The Jeep is a 2010 Grand Cherokee Ltd, with the Reese Class III Towing Package.

The Master Lock hitch pin lock # 1480DAT should not interfere with the trailer connector on your 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The blue end and the lock end only stick out 1-1/2 inches each on either side so if the connector is 3 inches away from the receiver you will still have 1-1/2 inches of clearance. You will want to have the lock end on the side of the receiver closest to the trailer connector so you can pull the pin out the other side.
