After Installing a CURT Fifth Wheel Extension Harness Will Both 7-Ways Work

Question:

If i install this extension harness inside of my truck box and connect it into the truck wiring harness, will i still be able to use my 7 pin that is located in the bumper WITHOUT having to unplug the 7 pin in my truck box? I have an 08 dodge 2500 short box diesel. If not, is there a plug and play harness that i can use BOTH 7 pin plugs without have to disconnect one to use the other one? Thanks

If you install the CURT Fifth Wheel / Gooseneck Extension Harness # C56071 that you referenced you will able able to use the 7-way at the rear of your vehicle and the one inside the truckbed without any problems. Basically, they both are active and either can be used without problems.
