The weight capacity of the Yakima SpareTime, # Y02598, is 35 pounds per bike, 70 pounds total. The SpareTime comes with two extensions, allowing it to fit wider tires. As long as the spare tire on your 2007 Toyota RAV4 has a width of P195 to P315 (7.6 to 12.4 inches wide) the bike rack would be a great fit. i have included a link to a video review of this rack for you.
If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # Y02531, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
