Question:
I have a 23ft Boston Whaler conquest boat motor fuel gear etc. is just over 6,000 lbs. it is on a EZ Loader bunk trailer rated for 7,000 lbs. the four carpeted bunks are 3.5 wide X 15 ft long will these rollers work on this trailer and do the make a galvinized product?

Expert Reply:
Bunk rollers like the # DL21755 model would be a good addition to your trailer, and would make launching and retrieving your boat easier. The rollers would cause less friction between the boat and the bunks, therefore requiring considerably less effort to winch the boat up onto the trailer.
For a comparable galvanized product, I would recommend part # DL21741, with each 5 foot section having a 3000 lb capacity per pair of rollers. These rollers can be fastened directly to the edge of your existing bunk boards, or the brackets part # DL21742 can be used. The zinc-dichromate plated brackets are sold individually, you will need two to mount each section of roller, four per pair.
