Question:
If you are looking at the rail grab tower itself, what is the width of the top of the part that the crossbars slide through? Im trying to see if I can make the mounting parts of an aero raptor straddle the top of a rail grab tower. They will my old towers that were mounted on a Saturn and I wondered if there is much difference in width.

The top part of the Yakima RailGrab, # Y00138, tower, where the bar slides through, is 4-1/4 inches. This is the part that covers up the bar. The height from the top part the covers the bar down to where it grabs the rail is 2-1/4 inches. And the overall width at the underneath part that holds the bar is 3-1/8 inches. I have included a picture that shows these dimensions for you.
