Will the Thule Raceway 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2005 Honda Element

Question:

Is this the best rack for a 2005 Honda Element without a hitch. I am a recreational biker - just need a rack to move my bike back and forth from my home in Lansing to my vacation home in Ludington. I will need to take the rack off and on every weekend to get access to the back

The Thule Raceway 2, # TH9001, is my top choice for a trunk mount bike rack, and it will fit your 2005 Honda Element. The main advantage of the Raceway is that it uses 4 retractable cables, rather than 6 straps, to mount to the vehicle. Because of this design it installs and removes from the vehicle faster than any other trunk mount rack I have used.

The cables can be locked into place to deter theft and there is also an integrated cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack. The arms are placed close together so the rack is compatible with many styles of bikes. But, I do recommend an adapter for womens, childrens, and alternative frame bikes. This will allow you to have greater ground clearance and carry the bikes more level.
