Question:
Mazda 6 has Bound stoppersinch inside the rear coil springs. I dont take anything for granted, but these are removed for the air bags correct? The instructions do not state to remove them.

Expert Reply:
If your 2010 Mazda 6 has a jounce bumper inside the coil spring on the rear axle, it will have to be removed to install the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F4168. The Firestone air spring will fit inside the existing coil spring suspension.
The Coil-Rite air springs will not increase the weight carrying capacity of your Mazda 6. They are used to help level the rear of your vehicle and provide better braking and handling when hauling heavy loads.
