Will the Titan Disc Brake Kit and BrakeRite II Fit a Pacific Coachworks Tango RKS Travel Trailer

Question:

I want it, but not sure its completely compatible with my trailer, so I need some advice. The trailer I would like to use this on is a new Pacific Coachworks Tango RKS 256 29foot tandem axle travel trailer. The trailer weighs ~6,000#. The wheels are 15x6 with a 5 on 4.5inch bolt pattern. The axles have a label indicating Lippert, the brake flange is a four hole. I do not know the bearing or seal sizes. The distance from where the brake actuator would be mounted to the rear axle is about 17.5. The trailer is 8foot wide. Thanks

From the information that you have provided so far, the Titan Disc Brake Kit and BrakeRite II SD Actuator, # T4843700, may fit on your new Pacific Coachworks Tango RKS Trailer, however, we will need to know the inner and outer bearing and grease seal part numbers or inner diameters.

The part numbers should be stamped into the metal of the bearings and the rubber of the seal. If you are unable to locate those part numbers, then you can take a few measurements on the spindle using a precise measuring tool like a dial caliper. The bearings in this kit are # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer and the grease seal is # RG06-050.

I have attached a photo showing where the part numbers should be located on the bearings and seal. The photo also shows where to measure on the spindle for the inner diameter of the grease seal, inner and outer bearing where the part numbers should be located on the bearings and seal.

If the part numbers or measurements for your inner and outer bearings and grease seal do not match up with the bearings and seals offered with this kit, then let me know so we can piece together a kit that will work for you.

I have also attached an article on adding electric over hydraulic brakes to a trailer for you to check out.

If you were also in the market for a brake controller, then I would recommend the Tekonsha P-3 Brake Controller, # 90195. This is one of our most popular brake controllers and is easy to set up and use. I have attached installation instructions and an installation video of this brake controller for you to check out as well.
