Gooseneck Hitch With Removable Ball for a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty with Air Bags

Hello I just bought a 2000 ford f350 4x4 diesel with a 8ft bed. It has air bags already on it that mount from the outside of the frame to the top of the spring. What is the cheapest under the bed gooseneck hitch that I could install with the airbags on it. I would like to have one that I can remove the ball. I know the b and w hitch wont work with these so didnt know what other options I had. Thanks for your help!

The most economical gooseneck hitch we carry that has a removable ball and would most likely work on your 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty with air bags mounted on the outside of the truck frame, is the Blue Ox Diamond Hitch, # DH1201.

You should go over the installation instructions closely to be sure that this system will work with your air bag setup. The L brackets in the Blue ox kit are shorter than any of the outside frame brackets in any of the other kits and will allow the most clearance for you air bag mounting brackets.

We have an installation video of the Diamond hitch on a 2011 Dodge, that may be helpful, but we have not had the opportunity to install a Diamond gooseneck on a 2000 F250 yet.

I went to the warehouse and pulled one of the L brackets from the DH1201 hitch for you to show you the measurement that is critical for clearance of your air bag mounts, which is 3-5/8 inches on the outside of the frame, see attached video.
