The key here is that the functions are in the correct locations. Wire color is going to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer which is why you should always wire by function and use a circuit tester like # 3808 when wiring in a connector like # 50-67-008.
The reason we list the wire color and functions on the product page is because there is no official industry standard for wire color. If you tried to wire by matching colors, there is a very good chance that it will be wired incorrectly. The functions of this 7-Way are the same as in the picture I have included.
