I pulled the Dutton-Lainson Worm Gear Hand Winch, # DL10956, and found that, overall, it measures 6-3/4 inches long x 5-1/2 inches tall x 5-3/4 wide. Those dimensions include the height and length of the drum and the width including the bolts on the sides.
Just the mounting plate/housing of the winch measures 5-1/2 inches long x 4-1/4 inches tall x 4-3/4 inches wide. I have attached two photos showing the measurements that I took.
