Question:
What kind of fifth wheel will fit a 2003 Chevy Silverado, and, what all will I need for this to be installed

The only part of a fifth wheel hitch that is vehicle specific are the mounting brackets for the base rails. The other important factor to consider when choosing a fifth wheel hitch is choosing a weight capacity that can handle the trailer that you are pulling.
If the bed on your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado is less than 8 ft long, then you will most likely need a sliding fifth wheel hitch to add clearance between your truck cab and trailer when making sharp turns.
I have attached a link to an FAQ article on fifth wheel towing for you to check out as well as a link to our fifth wheel fit guide for your truck. Just simply select the series and bed length of your truck and a list of all of the fifth wheel hitches and installation kits that we recommend for your truck will appear.
If you want to send me the series of your truck, your truck bed length and the gross trailer weight of your fifth wheel, then I can make a recommendation for the best fifth wheel hitch for your set up.
