Question:
My overland has advanced adaptive cruise control with the eye in the center of the lower bumper. Is the skid plate on the Bull Bar removable to allow for the sensor to operate properly?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Westin and he said the skid plate on the E-Series Bull Bar, # 31-5580, is removable. The skid plate is attached using bolts and can be easily removed once the bolts are removed.
He did warn that you will want to insert the bolts back into the bolt holes after you remove the skid plate to prevent dirt and debris building up in the bar.
