Will the Reese R16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit husky Rails and a Sidewinder King Pin

Question:

we have husky rails and a husky 15k hitch in our truck now, will the R16 fit our rails also we have a sidewinder, we still have the stock wedge that came with the sidewinder never used and the wedge we got to fit the husky hitch and sidewinder. will we need a new wedge with the R16. thanks for the advise on our short bed dodge, we have been using the side winder we got from you for over a year now and lots of miles and loving it.!

The Reese R16, # RP30866, fits in industry-standard, above-bed rails - Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Pro Series, Reese and Valley. Valley at one time made Husky parts so they would fall under the Valley umbrella.

Make sure that the mounting slots for a 5th wheel hitch are as follows:

Side to Side, there are 3 sets of holes. The inner set is 10 inches apart on center. The next set out is 20-1/2 inches apart on center. The third set closest to the ends of the rails is 29 inches apart.

Front to back the slots should be about 22 inches apart on center.

The R16 can be used with a Sidewinder and you will need to use the universal wedge that came with the Sidewinder, # 201100.
