Question:
i have a 2003 dodge Dakota quad cab and i need to purchase a hitch, my concern is i work in the auto parts industry and every hitch i come across says it will fit all Dakotas except quad cabs. so Im doing my research and trying to find one that will fit.

For the 2003 Dodge Dakota, there are specific trailer hitches that will fit all models INCLUDING the quad cab. Take a look at Curt hitch # C13145. The instructions I have linked do specify that it fits 2 door and 4 door models.
I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring, if needed, use # 118329. I have included a link to the installation details for the wiring as well.
