Is the Bully Tailgate Lock Compatible with a 1982 or Newer J10 or J20 Jeep Fullsize Pickup Truck

Is the LH-090 lock compatable with a Jeep fullsize pickup..1982 or newer...J10 or J20 model?

We have not had the chance to install the Bully Tailgate Lock, # LH-090, on an older Jeep pickup and I have never personally removed that tailgate, so I am unsure of the attachment style the tailgate uses. I produced a short video showing the inner dimension of the ring that installs around the cup style attachment point on Chevy, Dodge and Ford trucks for you, and demonstrated how it works, so you should be able to determine if the lock will work on your Jeep pickup.

Question:

I have determined that the LH-090 Bully lock will not work on my full size Jeep J20. Included please find a couple of labelled pix showing the gate and the right side pin with the slot to remove from truck. The diameter of the inside of the loop that the pin rests in is 1.5 inch ID. but as you can see the attachment differs greatly from the yellow ford p/u in the video....nothing for your lock loop to wrap around. Thanks again for taking the time to make that personal video for me. I will let the lads know on the Jeep forum of your super customer support and service. Thanks
