Will the Thule Roof Mount Tandem Bike Rack Carry a Tandem Bike with 66 Inch Wheelbase

I am looking for a platform hitch bike rack for a tandem. The wheel base on the bike is 66inch and the wight is 50 lbs. We have a two inch receiver on our truck.

f the overall length of your tandem bike is greater than 80 inches or the wheel diameter is more than 29 inches, then, because of the weight of your bike, the best option that we have for your bike is the Thule Tandem Roof Mounted Bike Rack, # TH558P. This roof mounted bike rack requires Thule standard crossbars to fit on a vehicles roof.
