i had a yak roof system on a chevy lumina and it leaked around the door seals how do these racks hold up in that department.will multiple installation and removal cause any breakdown of the door seals. thank you ahead of time

As long as you install the SportRack Frontier Roof Rack # A21010S properly you should not have any problems with the window seals on your 2010 Chevy Impala.
It sounds like your Chevy Lumina was an older vehicle. In recent years they have really improved door seals compared to how they used to make them so you should not have a problem on your Impala.
