If you plan on carrying womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal cross tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Thule Bike Adapter bar # TH982XT. This product attaches to the seat post and handlebar stem to provide a horizontal bar to provide an attachment point for your bike. I attached a review video for this product also.
