Comparing Putco Element Brand Window Air Deflectors to the WeatherTech Brand for a 2006 Honda Pilot

are these deflectors 3mm thick? how come there is such a price difference between the weather teck and putco produces? thanks

I spoke with my contact at Putco and he was unable to provide the thickness of the Putco Element In-Channel Window Visors, # P580402, but I went out to the warehouse and measured a similar model and it measured 2.65mm thick.

I also called WeatherTech about their window air deflectors, # WT82316, and was told that they are made of 3mm thick high grade acrylic plastic that has optical clarity, and their product has a 3 year warranty.

While I was out in the warehouse I pulled a WeatherTech Air Deflector also and measured it just to see how it compared to the Putco model and with the same dial caliper I used on the Putco brand I got 3.76mm thickness for the WeatherTech brand.
