Question:
Is this what I need to connect my 30 amp cord to a 50 amp service at an RV park? This is our first RV and we know very little.

The Triangle Temporary Adapter, # 13995, is designed to plug in items that require the hole pattern on the adapter to a regular grounded wall outlet. Certain appliances use this type of connection.
You can plug in a 30 amp cable to a 50 amp service. The 30 amps is just how much the RV is rated for. Pulling more than that would trip the breaker(s) on the RV. So you do not have to worry about connecting to a 50 amp service shore power.
