Aluminum Scissor Steps and Hand Rail Measurements

Question:

It states that the vertical height measures between 31-39, what is the vertical height? Do I measure from our camper door to the ground straight up & down or is this a measurement that angles from the bottom of the door to the ground? We have an older 70s camper that came with a 3 scissor style step and its too short. You have about a foot to step up into the camper. I am looking for one that gets us closer to the camper opening and is safer to get out of the camper. I also need the handrail that you offer to attach to these, will it work with these stairs ? Thank-you

You are correct the Aluminum Scissor Steps, 24 inches Wide, 31-39 inches Tall, part # AS24, can be fully extended to 39 inches tall, or can be slightly compressed so that they measure 31 inches tall. You will need to measure from the ground to the bottom of your camper door to see what height you need. We do sell the matching handrail, it is the Aluminum Hand Rail for 4 Step Scissor Stair, item # AHR4 and it is custom fit to these stairs.
