Question:
What is the sped rating for crlisle sport trail 4.8x12 ?

Expert Reply:
All of the trailer tires that we carry are rated for 65 mph, unless otherwise stated on the tire sidewall. Using the tire at higher speeds will cause more heat to be built up in the tire, which is a major contributor to tire failure.
Be sure to keep trailer tires inflated to the maximum pressure as listed on the tire sidewall. Insufficiently inflated tires can also lead to excess heat build up.
We carry several different wheel/ tire combinations in 4.80X12 tire size, I have linked you to our selection. Simply match up the wheel bolt pattern and desired load range.
I have included a link to our tire FAQ article for you.
