Question:
Hello, I purchased a Hidden Hitch controller 4-5 yrs ago. It looks identical to this switch Tekonsha - 39523. My question is, can this be installed in my 2007 Tahoe with a factory installed 7-way connector? When I search for controllers that are compatible with my Tahoe, this controller is not listed. Also, If it is compatible, is there a installation video available similar to some of the other controllers you have? Thank You!

Yes, your brake controller can be installed on your 2007 Chevy Tahoe. As long as the controller is functioning properly, it will wire the same as any other brake controller. There is no plug present under the dash, but the wires are already there. You only need to splice the brake control wires together with those already present under the dash. These wires are tied up with white tape to the left of the brake pedal. You need to connect 4 wires to the controller, as follows; red (12v power feed) from truck goes to black on brake controller, dark blue (brake feed to trailer connector) on truck goes to blue on brake controller, light blue (brake feed) on truck goes to red on brake controller, white (ground) on truck goes to white on brake controller. After these connections are made you will need to go under the hood and locate and connect(see instructions link) the 12v power feed wire and the brake controller power feed wire to the studs (nuts not present) on the power distribution box. Once this is complete you should be set to go. If you have any other questions let me know, we are here to help.
