How does center of EGR shield fasten to grille. Do you have to tape or screws. and do you have to remove the grille? 2012 Ford F 150 XL reg. cab

The correct EGR Superguard bug shield for a 2012 Ford F-150 XL is # 303371. The Superguard Bug Shield attaches to the hood of your truck with the included hardware. The hardware, threaded screw plugs, with screws, fit in existing holes in the hood of your truck.
The plugs are inserted into the holes on the hood and the shield is attached to the hood with screws that will screw into the plugs. Only vehicles that have the grille attached to the hood would have to have the grille removed.
