Does this air intake system include a heat shield as shown in product description page? My car is Ford Escape 3.0 2004.

Expert Reply:
The aFe direct fit cold air intake system, # AFE51-10031, comes with everything you see pictured. It does not include a 16-gauge, powder coated steel heat shield that replaces the stock air box, though, because it is not required. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
To clean the included filter, I recommend using the aFe cleaners, # AFE90-59999. These cleaners are specifically designed to clean the aFe filters.
