Will the Super Titan Receiver Adapter Work to Carry a Thule Apex Bike Rack on a 3 Inch Hitch

I am looking at a Thule Apex hitch mounted bike carrier. However, all my vehicles have 3inch hitches. Will this product work to reduce the hitch to 2inch and still allow the Apexsfoot anti sway feature to work?

The Super Titan Receiver Adapter, # 38735, is exactly what you will want to use to carry a new Thule Apex hitch mounted bike rack. This adapter will reduce the size of your 3 inch hitches to 2 inches so the shanks of the bike racks will fit.

I have attached links for all of our Thule Apex bike racks for you to check out. We offer two 4 bike carriers and one 5 bike carrier. I would recommend either the Thule Apex Swing 4 Bike Rack, # TH9027, or the Thule Apex 5 Bike Rack, # TH9026.

The Apex Swing bike rack will allow you to access the rear cargo area of your vehicles without having to remove the bikes from the rack. It will simply swing out to the right and out of the way.

They Apex 5 bike rack will also allow you to access the rear cargo area of your vehicle, however, you should remove the bikes from the bike rack before tilting the bike rack down.

I would also recommend using the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, if you plan on carrying any womens or childrens bikes. Some smaller or angled bike frames can be difficult to mount on a bike rack and this adapter bar will help carry the bikes level. I have attached a review video of the adapter bar for you as well.
