Can a Reese SC Weight Distribution System Be Used on a 2012 189FBS Fun Finder X

Question:

I just ordered a 2013 189FBS Fun Finder X travel trailer. Will this Reese model fit the trailer frame might be less than 6inch tall, and can the location of the brackets on the trailer be moved to avoid propane tank / battery tray interference? worried that I wont have room to locate the brackets where they need to go.

The Reese SC Weight Distribution System # RP66151 that you referenced can work on trailer frames that are up to 6 inches tall and 2-1/2 inches wide. The hanger location on your trailer frame can be from 20 inches to 27 inches back from the hitch ball. Basically, you have a 7 inch range to work with so that you can mount the hangers on the frame so they do not interfere with your propane tank and battery tray.

You should note that when picking out a weight distribution system the most important factor to consider is the loaded tongue weight of the setup. It is also important to consider any and weight from cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle as tongue weight. The FAQ I attached has a section on how to determine tongue weight that you should find informative.
