Trailer Hitch, Bike Rack, and Roof Rack Recommendations for a 2009 Honda Fit Sport

I do have a bike rack solution for you. However, all of the trunk mount bike rack options for a 2009 Honda Fit exclude the Sport model because of the rear spoiler on the vehicle. A trunk mount bike rack cannot be safely installed.

What you can do is install a trailer hitch, # 24826, and use a trailer hitch mount bike rack. Because all of the available hitches for your vehicle are Class I hitches, you will be limited to carrying a maximum of 2 bikes on a hitch.

For a bike rack, I recommend the Swagman Titan, # S63400. It is Class I compatible, tilts away from the vehicle, has anti-sway cradles, and an integrated cable lock. I have included some links to the hitch and bike rack for you to view.

To carry a third bike, you can add a roof rack and roof mounted carrier. The most cost efficient roof rack for your vehicle is # A21002S. For a bike rack, I like the ones that grip the bike frame like # TH599XTR. I have included a link to a video of this rack for you.
