Trailer Wiring Harness Options for a 2012 Honda CR-V

Question:

Need to buy and install wire harness on my new Honda CV-R. I was told that this could effect the new car warranty. Do you have a harness that can plug in without cutting any wires?

Both trailer wiring harnesses for a 2012 Honda CR-V, see link, require tapping into the vehicle tail light wiring to function. A plug and play type of harness is not available. There is actually a federal law called the Federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act that states, in part, that your warranty will still be honored unless the part installed caused the malfunction.
