Roof Rack Recommendation to Carry Ladders on a 2010 Ford Escape with Factory Side Rails

If your 2010 Ford Escape is a hybrid, XLT, or XLS model I recommend a Rhino-rack system, # SXB3. The Aero bars can be fitted with load stops, like # S602 (sold in a 2-pack), and ladder slides, # SEGLK2B (sold with 2 for each bar), to help secure your ladder and make it easier to load and unload.

If you have a Limited model Escape, use # SXB4 for a roof rack. The same load stops and ladder slides will work with this system as well. I have included links to a couple of videos of each roof rack for you.
