Will a Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Fit a Mazda 5

Question:

Will the Quickback 3 fit the Mazda 5? Seems to me that the hatch is partially glass and some of the straps will need to be on the glass. If this is true will it only hold 2 bikes? Also, would I need to buy that extra bar to hold a scooped out style womens bike on this rack? thanks

The Yakima Quickback 3, # Y02622, will fit the 2012 Mazda 5 but not any previous model years of the vehicle. Yakima does not mention that on the 2012 models that glass hook adapters need to be used so the vehicle should be able to support 3 bikes. However, you are correct, should the vehicle need the glass hook adapters, it would be limited to just 2 bikes.

For a womens bike or any alternative frame bike, you would need to use a adapter bar, # Y02531, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bike more level. I have included a link to a video showing how the adapter works.
