The Pro Series # 63124 bike rack should be able to handle your 26 inch cruisers with no problem. Since this rack uses hook and loop straps to secure the bikes to the rack, and the rack does not use anti-sway cradles that prevent the bikes from swaying back and forth and striking each other or the vehicle carrying them, this is a rack I would typically recommend for an occasional rider who is transporting their bikes short distances. The rack has a 120 lb weight capacity.

The Rhode Gear Highway, part # RG8015221 still uses the hook and loop fasteners, but it does utilize anti-sway cradles that will help protect your bikes and the rear of the vehicle. The Highway rack will accommodate 4 bikes with a total capacity of 125 lbs.

If you will be frequently transporting your bikes a greater distance, using a rack that has anti-sway cradles and a more traditional cradle design would be well worth the price difference. The Yakima Big Horn, part # Y02404 uses sturdy rubber straps that will securely hold your bikes to the rack, and anti-sway cradles to keep your bikes and vehicle safe for trips of any distance.

For womens bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # Y02531 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
