Recommendation For Firestone Ride-Rite Springs on 1996 Dodge 2500 4X4 With Factory 4-Inch Lift

Question:

Dodge 2500 1996 4X4 with factory 4inch plus lift between axel and 3wide springs. About 5inch plus between frame and tire rim. Is there any overload bags that will fit this vehicle. It looks like it is all orginal factory installed equipment. The lift block has an arm on the inside middle as a jounce stop for the rubber block above.

If your 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 has the factory 4-inch lift, where the springs rest on a 4-inch block on top of the axle, you will need the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs for Lifted Vehicles, part # F2264, that you have referenced. You will want to measure again the distance from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire. It will need to be at least 7-1/2 inches for this kit to work. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the # F2264 kit.

If you are needing to add a compressor and an air tank to your air springs I would recommend the Firestone Level Command II - Single-Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function, part # F2158, or the Firestone Dual Electric Air Command - Dual-Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Dual Function, part # F2178.
