Question:
I have a 2011 Toyota tundra Crew Max 4wd. Will I be able to lower my tailgate with this rack in my receiver hitch motorcycle off of course? How high does the rock and wheel chock protrude above the receiver hitch?

I cannot say with certainty if the Rage PowerSport Motorcycle Carrier, # SMC600 will allow you to open the tailgate with the rack in place. However I can provide some measurements that might help you to figure it out.
The wheel hoop at the end of the track should not be an issue, as it angles up and away from the drivers side of the vehicle. The tailgate should miss it completely.
The carrier might extend far enough to the rear for everything on it to clear the tailgate, regardless of how tall the wheel chock is. The edge of the wheel chock measures approximately 21 inches rearward from the hitch pin hole in the shank of the carrier. You can open the tailgate and measure 21 inches rearward from the hitch pin hole in your receiver to determine if the chock will clear the open edge of the tailgate.
If you should find that the 21 inches will not allow the chock to clear, knowing that the chock extends upward from the top surface of the track about 8-1/2 inches and the top surface of the track is 2-1/2 inches taller than the top of the shank that slides into the receiver on your truck will allow you to determine the clearance.
Leaving the tailgate open, measure 11 inches upward from the top inside edge of your receiver opening. If this distance is greater than 11 inches, the tail gate will be able to be opened without hitting the chock.
