Question:
I drive a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The top is off a lot during the summer. I am looking for a carrier to keep my golf clubs locked in while I am at work. Do you recommend this product?

The Transporter Combi Cargo Carrier would be a great option for locking up your golf bag while at work. You will need to do some measuring to determine if the Transporter Combi Cargo Carrier, # TH665C, will fit on your 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon though. I attached a photo showing all of the dimensions of the carrier.
Basically, I am concerned about the size of the spare tire on your Rubicon. Normally the Rubicon and Sahara models have a larger spare tire that could interfere with installing the Combi carrier. If you measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the farthest out part of the spare tire, and from the top of the hitch opening up to the bottom of the spare tire you can determine if the carrier will fit in the towing position. I added a video, see link, showing the measurement on a 2006 Wrangler to he farthest out part of the spare at 8 inches. I believe the spare on your Rubicon will be slightly larger than the one on this vehicle.
You can see in the drawing I attached, the farthest out part of the spare tire will need to be less than 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to avoid contact with the box, and the spare tire will need to be at least 4 inches above the top of the hitch opening to clear the pivot bar on the carrier. If the spare is not at least 4 inches above the top of the hitch opening, the farthest back part of the spare tire will need to be no more than 7-5/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole.
If you need a hitch for your Jeep, I recommend going with the Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch, # 87431, which is compatible with the carrier you chose. You will also need trialer wiring for this carrier. You can use the T-One Jeep Wiring Harness, # 118409, for your vehicle.
