Recommendation for Routing the Electric Winch Wiring on a Tilt Trailer Bed

Question:

i have a 18 ft tilt deck flat bed and want to mount the winch on the end of the deck so when the deck is tilted up the winch will be on the high side of deck up in the air any cool ideas for wiring it to the battery in the front box what do you do with all the extra wire when the deck is down in the locked position ? I am sure this has been done before

I recommend using some quick disconnects like # SW1551. This way you could tilt the bed, pull down the winch wiring, and plug it into the battery. You would need to stow the extra wire with the winch and be careful not to lower the bed on the wiring.

If you can find some type of retractable wiring that allows for a heavy enough gauge of wire, that would be ideal.
