Question:
There seems to be a bit of confusion about whether this hitch will fit my 2002 Beetle Turbo diesel. Can you please clarify?

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite about hitch # 24679 and a 2002 VW New Beetle Turbo Diesel. the only model that this trailer hitch will not fit is the Turbo S model. If yours is branded as a Turbo S it will not fit, otherwise it fits all models. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you.
If you plan on doing some towing, the correct ball mount is # 3593 and you can use pin and clip # PC2, 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256, and 2 inch ball # 19258. For trailer wiring, use # 119175KIT.
