The Hidden Hitch Adjustable Ball Mount, part # 80412, will fit on a 2-inch hitch and has a gross towing weight (GTW) capacity of 6,000 lbs and a tongue weight (TW) capacity of 600 lbs. It has a maximum rise of 8-3/8 inches and a maximum drop of 9-5/8 inches. It can adjust in 1-1/2 inch increments. I am including a link to a video review on the # 80412 ball mount.

If your factory hitch on your 2003 Toyota Tacoma is a 2-inch hitch, the ball mount will fit, but if the factory hitch has a lower weight capacity then 6,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs TW you will need to use the lowest capacity as the maximum weight capacity of your towing setup.

You will need to use a hitch ball with a 1 inch diameter shank like the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19247.
