Question:
My 2011 Ford F150 has painted mirrors will your mirrors hurt the paint on my Ford mirrors

I spoke with my contact at K-Source and he has not received any complaints of the Custom Towing Mirrors, # KS81810, damaging the paint of factory mirrors. These custom mirrors have two foam padding strips on the inside of the mirrors that will prevent excessive contact between the towing mirror and the paint on the factory mirrors of your 2011 Ford F-150.
These mirrors secure to the top, bottom and side edges of your existing mirrors so the main contact points will be at those locations.
You may be interested in a few of our universal fit towing mirrors like the CIPA Suction Cup Mount Towing Mirrors, # CM11954, which will suction to the face of your existing mirrors and the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, # 7070. The clip-on mirror will still secure to the top and bottom edges of your existing mirrors, but secures with a rubber straps around the back of the mirror. I have attached a video showing how this towing mirror will attach to your factory mirrors.
